Several years ago, I was introduced to a group called Cadillac Sky. They are a bluegrass group that people have classified as "New Grass". They are a younger group of guys with more modern sound to traditional bluegrass. I first saw them at Romp (River of Music Party) back in 2007 or 2008, I believe and became a fan. And just got to see them again in November while on tour with Mumford and Sons. With innovative takes on songs like Basket Case by Green Day to I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab for Cutie, the boys in C-Sky never failed to impress. With a heavy heart today, they announced they would be going on indefinite hiatus.
