Destroy, Destroy by Set Fire Run
Every so often I have to post a song by Son of a Kid. This was created back when they were still Set Fire Run but it is an amazing song. Probably one of my most favorites. I think you should give this a listen then you should follow them on all social media outlets possible. Their music has so much depth, not only in the melody but in the artistry behind it as well. The vocals are always top notch and the quality of the recordings are spot on. This band needs to be signed by a record label so they can tour and bring all this amazing energy to the world.
Yes, I am a bit biased because I love everything they do. An act with this much passion for the creation of art should be on the top of everyone's list. Listen to the track, you'll dig it....I promise.

Son of a Kid - Run Sucker Run
"Run, Run, Run before I lose myself and hurt someone", Alx says in this powerful ode to infidelity. He has been cheated on and he is now issuing a warning to the man that has caused this grievous harm. He's generally not a jealous man but this time, he's through. I have been a fan of this band for over a year now and the music they are consistently putting out needs to be heard by as many people as possible, I've heard that getting into the Swedish music scene can be daunting but for the love of Pete, someone give them a record deal. There aren't many groups in the world today that are as capable and as competent as Son of a Kid and I would put my musical future well within their hands because they are going to take me where I need to go.
This single is so good and the musicality in conjunction with Alx's lyrics are just top notch. Listen to this group, fan them on Facebook, watch their videos on Youtube and make everyone you know aware at just how amazing they are. You will not be disappointed and I want a full fledged album from them. Be a fan and show amazing amounts of support.

Set Fire Run - Man Down
Man Down by Set Fire Run
I'm not sure what's in the water in Sweden but with the steady flow of quality artists, I feel they could potentially take over the world if they combined their powers together. Set Fire Run has very quickly become one of my most favorite groups in the world. I've been a fan since they were Dyno and as an act that has not released an actual album, they are (in my opinion) one of the most talented groups in the past 15 years. Alexander, Kim Logan and Thomas make up this 3 piece group that has the ability to grab a hold of you emotionally speaking, as it were, and take you where you need to be. Whether it's reminiscing over what could have been or it's making the realization that what some consider love and affection is actually suffocation and restraining orders.
These guys can do things that I don't feel many artists can do, they can captivate. I think it's this ability that will propel them to superstardom. I feel like they are working on this huge grassroots movement to build up a fanbase before they release an album. If this is true, I give them massive credit. Having people there ready and able to buy the album when it drops is amazing. Now if we as fans can only help do our part buy becoming involved, I think the stage will be set.
This track is a little bit of a sidestep from their previous offerings. The vocals are much slower which gives the song a much heavier edge and I think the methodical nature make this a different variation to what we've heard before and it is an extremely important step. Each song they put out takes you one step further down the path and you realize that it's a trip you don't mind taking at all, as a matter of fact, you wonder why you haven't taken this trip before. I don't feel as if the guys have slipped up yet and I am always hungry for whats coming next.

OMG I NEED an album from Set Fire Run. How can you not listen to this and be excited!! That bass line is sick and the vocals are so tight. Set Fire Run was known as Dyno but they chose a new name and have released a ton of tracks without actually creating an album and their body of work is so incredible they could release 2 or 3 albums with so much amazing work on them. They have a Soundcloud (as shown above) and a Facebook (Link) and you need to rush over to both of them and follow, stalk, subscribe or whatever it takes to get them to release an album.
