Marina and the Diamonds - Lies (Acoustic)

I really think we are going to get to hear all the tracks off the album before it's actually released. On top of that, we are going to get videos for all the tracks that showcase Marina's amazing voice and timeless beauty and appeal. With each track we get to know a little more about her and we are allowed in a step at a time. I think this has been my favorite track as of yet and I can't wait to hear more of the album. I know it seems like I am always waiting for the next thing but I think that's because each release is stronger and more impressive than the last and I with each new chapter, it's getting better and better. Marina is one of my favorite artists because she is an absolute amazing singer and artist. She continues to grow and mature with every step she takes so I am excited to be able to watch her as she becomes the artist she deserves to be.

Shut the fuck up. Stop reading this write up and listen to that track if you haven't already. If you even attempt to deny the absolute brilliance of this song, I will call you an idiot. I don't really have words for how incredible this is. If you were ever concerned with the stat of Pop music, then you should just listen to this and everything will be all right. Marina's voice has never ever sounded better and the arrangement and production on this acoustic track are unbelievable. She is a star and has so much going for her and I can't properly express how much I am in love with this track and the others she's released off Electta Heart.  I can't wait until I have this album in my hands so I can fully appreciate her vision in this musical chapter of her life.  So so good.

Marina and the Diamonds - Primadonna

Petulant. That's what Marina is serving up in this video. Spoiled, rotten, nasty Primadonna. This sound is a bit more mainstream and poppy than previous releases but it is actually an amazing sound. The song showcases her voice beautifully and is an amazing introduction for people that aren't necessarily familiar with Marina's sound. The video is a fun romp through the extravagant, high maintenance side of our girl. I have high hopes for her new album and can't wait to hear it.
