James Leon - Underground Lover (Pollarik Mix)

Generally remixes aren't my bag but when you create something like this, you have to talk about it. James Leon is fearlessly innovated with his lyrical choice and delivery. He leaves it all on floor when he creates his art. And I wish more artists would do that. I wish they would just throw themselves into their projects and make music that makes you take notice. The mix of this song is something else. It takes the track and elevates it into something new and spins you around and drops you right in the center of the dance floor. There is an amazing independent spirit that this song evokes and stays with you long after you've finished listening to it. I'm glad he's releasing new music and continuing to plug away at his dream. There aren't many artists out there like James; self made, self aware and intelligent about their choices and decisions. It makes me happy to have him as a friend of the blog.
